There will be no staging of the Annual Reggae Music Festival, Rebel Salute, for 2022.
This, following the ongoing global pandemic.
Tony Rebel, the event’s organizer and Reggae Artiste revealed that the 2-day festival, which is usually held in January to coincide with his birthday, will not be held this year, for the first time in the event’s 28-year existence.
Because of the pandemic, we’ve placed all of our plans on hold and are reassessing them.” Since we participated in the virtual event last year, our family has decided to skip it this year. In order to better understand the current state of affairs, we’ve decided to take a year break and come back for our 30th anniversary,” – Rebel stated.
The Rebel Salute concert was one of the last big shows before the pandemic hits in 2020.
