California Vibrations Festival Back To Long Beach

Ziggy Marley: We Need to Ban Pesticides in Pot - Rolling StoneChill vibes are coming to Long Beach in February when concert promoter Goldenvoice brings reggae, plus a bit of hip-hop, back to the city.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 15, for California Vibrations Festival, which is set to take place Feb. 4-6 at Marina Green Park in Long Beach.

The Marley Brothers, including Stephen, Ziggy, Damian, Julian and Ky-mani Marley, along with Slighty Stoopid, Rebelution and Sublime with Rome, are among some of the first acts announced for the inaugural weekend festival. The Marley family will perform the music of their late father, Bob Marley.

Also on the more than 50-act lineup for the new festival, which was announced by Goldenvoice on Oct. 11, are Wu-Tang Clan, Dirty Heads, Stick Figure, Sean Paul, Koffee, Atmosphere, Shaggy and Long Beach Dub Allstars.

Many of the acts on the new festival, including Slightly Stoopid, Rebelution and Sublime with Rome, Dirty Heads and Stick Figure are no strangers to performing in Long Beach since they have all performed at Goldenvoice’s previous reggae festival, called One Love Cali Reggae Festival, which was held for five years and last took place at the Queen Mary in February 2020 just before the pandemic hit.
