Rihanna’s new album is reportedly coming December 2019.
Loyal members of the Pop superstar’s ‘Navy’ were sent into euphoria over the weekend after news broke that she is set to finally drop her upcoming album this December.
After more than a year of speculation, it seems the “Wild Thoughts” singer is finally set to drop her highly anticipated Dancehall themed project, which has been rumoured for years.
Fans were excited over the weekend after executives from Universal Music France tweeted that the Bajan pop star was set to release her new album in December of this year.
According to CEO of Universal Music France, Olivier Nusse, Rihanna was one of several big-name stars set who are on the verge of releasing their albums.
During the company’s annual “Open Session” in Paris on Friday Nusse revealed that Rihanna, Drake, The Migos, and The Weeknd are all set to drop new projects this fall.
However, despite the positive news, it seems some fans are still a little skeptical as the news did not come from the Pop superstar or her camp directly.
For months Rihanna has remained silent on the release date for the project, instead choosing to be cryptic and assuring fans that it would be coming eventually.
In the last few weeks the Rihanna registered a new song co-written by Demarco, giving fans first indications of the heavy Dancehall influence rumoured for the project.
