California native Tenelle tops the Billboard Reggae Album chart with her debut, For The Lovers.
This is the third time in three years that a female artiste has topped the chart.
Last week, Queen Ifrica went number one with Climb, which drops to number seven this week.
Released on March 10 by Island Empire Records, For The Lovers contains 11 tracks including collaborations with Fiji and Chazrox.
Elsewhere, Lost in Paradise by Common Kings is at number two, while Set In Stone by Stick Figure inches up to number three.The consistent former number one, Falling Into Place by Rebelution, moves up to number four, and the compilation Get Soca 2017 is up one place to number five.
Fortunate Youth’s self-titled set is number six, while Stephen Marley’s Revelation Part II: The Fruit of Life rises from 13 to number eight.
Bob Marley & the Wailers’ The Legend Live: Santa Barbara Country Bowl November 25th, 1979 is back in the Top 10 at number nine, so too J Boog’s Wash House Ting which is up to number 10 from 14.
Another newcomer is The Soul Of Jamaica by Inna de Yard, which is at number 13.
Released by Wagram Music/Chapter Two Records, the 13-track set features Let The Water Run Dry by Ken Boothe, Jah Power, Jah Glory (Kiddus I), Secret (Winston McAnuff) and Love Is The Key by The Viceroys.
