No Virtual Reggae Sumfest This Year, Organizers Look To Plan Live Show In October

This Year's Staging of Reggae Sumfest Has Been Cancelled - Caribbean NewsWith July fast approaching and the world still being hampered by the effects of COVID-19, many music lovers are asking about the 2021 staging of REGGAE SUMFEST.

Music News understands that there are no plans in the making for a virtual staging of Reggae Sumfest this year. However, the organizers of the greatest Reggae festival are looking towards Heroes Weekend in October providing the entertainment sector opens up by then.

Reggae Sumfest owner and Downsound Records CEO, Josef Bogdanovich tells us more.

Reggae Sumfest organizers aren’t the only ones eyeing October.

Reggae Sumfest | #ExperienceTransat – Memories of Transat Holidays travelersThe organizers of Best of the Best said that instead of its usual Memorial Day weekend celebration in May, the event will be held in October. In March, they announced that Best of the Best will take place on October 10, during Columbus Day Weekend for one time only, at its usual home at the Bay Front Park in Downtown Miami.

Tarrus Riley, Spice, Koffee, Ding Dong, Allison Hinds, Tanya Stephens, and Lady G are some of the entertainers billed for the 2021 staging of Best of the Best.
