Reggae Artist G Whizz Takes A Shot At Entrepreneurship, In The Lawn Care Business

G Whizz for Jesus | Entertainment | Jamaica GleanerDancehall artiste G Whizz is the latest music industry profession to try a hand at entrepreneurship. The Life [Soon Sort Out] singjay has launched out into the lawn care businesss.

G Whizz, who said that he has invested several hundred thousand dollars in the business, has secured a Nissan AD Wagon for the transportation of the equipment and is currently seeking personnel to build his workforce.

“I plan to hire two persons to start the team and in order to make the business run smoothly; anybody who I hire has to be a licensed driver and can also perform the duties required for a proper lawn care service. That’s the only requirement, that it must be a serious, hard-working youth or elder, who wants to work and is ready to work,” he said.

G Whizz says while he is fully dedicated to music, he plans to be actively involved in the lawn care business for at least the first three to six months after its official launch. He also said that he was directly inspired by his manager, and that the latest entrepreneurial endeavours tie into his career as a dancehall recording artiste.

Of course, any smart person who starts a business has to be on site to see how it is operating and that it is running at its optimal level, before leaving it in the hands of someone else,” G Whizz said.

“The lawn care service is a good investment and I believe it can be a profitable business in our market that I don’t see COVID-19 affecting. Cut a lawn now, two weeks later it waan to cut again,;and once it is done properly the client will call back, and we can secure contracts.”
