The dancehall queen, who spearheads the Grace Hamilton Women Empowerment Foundation, says she is on a mission to ensure that come next month, every child is in school.

“I know how difficult things are and a lot of parents sometimes cannot afford simple things like school bags and uniforms, and so every year I make it my duty to help out in any way I can,” she told THE STAR. “Whether I’m sponsoring some children by helping to pay their school fees or taking care of their book lists, I always try to find ways to help some parents who are finding the back-to-school shopping hard.”

A video, posted on her social media page on the weekend, shows the entertainer already putting things together.

Her living room was flooded with school supplies, including high-end Jansport book bags. Spice told THE STAR that not only does she enjoy giving back, but she takes great pride in gifting persons quality items.

“I’m a mother, so I know what kids like, and so the same things I would buy for my kids is the same kinda things I’ll be giving away. I always tell myself that if I’m going to do something, I’m going to do it to the best of my ability and give it my all, and this involves children, our future; I had to go all out.”

“We want the parents to bring out their kids. Bring book lists, school fee vouchers, because we will also be sponsoring children in that area as well. We want to make sure every child is in school this September,” said Spice.

The artiste is also asking persons who wish to sponsor a child to get in touch with her foundation via email at gracehamiltonwef@gmail.com.
