_Tommy Lee Sparta’s first project under Sean Kingston’s Time In Money record label could be released as early as spring 2018. That is according to the label’s owner, who said that the Montego Bay-bred artiste has already recorded about seven songs.
“We don’t know if all the seven songs will make the final cut, but we’re working on it,” Sean Kingston told THE WEEKEND STAR. “It’s just a rebirth; a new chapter of Tommy Lee that has all the dimensions; switching voice tones, mad song concepts, melodies, instruments. It’s a whole different vibe. The chemistry is crazy,” Sean Kingston said.
The Fire Burning singer expects that the final product will have about 10 songs, scheduled for release in March or April next year.
“We a come heavy. We a come hard,” he said.
Last month, Kingston and Tommy Lee released a song called Crossover, which has accumulated over one million views on WorldStarHipHop’s YouTube channel. “And that was just to let people know we’re doing something,” Kingston said.
Kingston has his own project in the pipeline. He is currently completing his Made in Jamaica project, scheduled to drop on February 3, 2018. The work will feature contributions from reggae singer Jah Cure, Akon, Canadian singer-rapper Tory Lanez and Nigerian singer Davido.
Since the recent purchase of his Jamaican home, the international rapper has focused a significant amount of attention on the island. While on tour in Canada to promote Made in Jamaica, Kingston orchestrated a Thanksgiving dinner for the less fortunate in downtown Kingston. He also hosted a star-studded Christmas dinner and party at his new home.
