Veteran entertainer George Nooks is to return to court on July 21 when the matter is set for mention.On Thursday, June 28th Geroge Nooks appeared before the court, however, the prosecution informed the court that the relevant documents to be presented to the defence were not ready.
It was later determined that as a result, a trial date cannot be set.
The singer was last month nabbed by law enforcement officials after just under 2 ounces of cocaine was reportedly found in his possession.
The entertainer’s attorney, Tom Tavares-Finson at the last hearing said there is a major inconsistency in the police account of the circumstances under which his client was arrested and charged.
George Nooks was arrested on May 5.
