Star-Studded Line-Up For Best Of The Best

Best of the Best will be celebrating its 11th year at Bayfront Park in Miami, Florida, this year, and for this year’s staging, the promoters have booked a strong contingent of reggae, soca and dancehall acts.

Set for Sunday, May 28, Best of the Best is aiming to bring the South Florida community together for a day of entertainment and other festivities.

Best of the Best has become a staple concert in the Caribbean diaspora and is known for showcasing some of the biggest acts in reggae and dancehall music including Shabba Ranks, Beres Hammond and Sanchez.

This year’s concert features a cast of chart-topping artistes, including Mavado, Aidonia, Konshens, Charly Black, Christopher Martin, Jahmiel and Dexta Daps. Not to be left out of the mix, the organisers also included veteran artistes Josey Wales, Brigadier Jerry, Barrington Levy and General Trees. The soca segment will see artistes like Lyrickal and Patrice Roberts making their mark.

“We are very excited about the incredible line-up we have put together for the 11th annual Best of The Best concert. We have some of reggae, dancehall and soca hottest acts,” co-organiser of the event, Jabba, told THE WEEKEND STAR.
