Busta Rhymes Feat Vybz Kartel ‘The Don And The Boss’ Is Out, On The Road Now! Making It Clap

Busta Rhymes Flips Out on Passenger on Flight to London | Rap-UpAmerican rapper Busta Rhymes has always made public his support for incarcerated deejay Vybz Kartel.

In fact, Busta Rhymes, who is of Jamaican descent, was one of the few international figures who were present at the deejay’s murder trial back in 2014.

The Make It Clap rapper even outlined his concerns about how the deejay’s family was being treated during the trial.

He returned to Jamaica in 2016 and visited the deejay in prison. It, therefore, comes as no surprise that the first single from Busta Rhymes’ first album in eight years features the ‘Worl Boss’. The track, The Don and The Boss, was released last Friday and is the first single to be released from his highly anticipated LP, Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God.

Busta Rhymes broke the news of the collaboration on Instagram last Wednesday when he released a short video featuring footage of himself and Vybz Kartel at the studio.

It was revealed that the clipping was from the pair’s initial meeting back in 2010. It was also revealed that the current track could have been a work in progress from that time.

Busta Rhymes has been promoting the single heavily on his social media platform since its release. In one of his many posts on Instagram, the rapper dubbed Vybz Kartel a lyrical genius and labelled the collaboration “the biggest bl**dcl**t tune on di planet”.

The track has been attracting quite the buzz since its release, so much so that rapper Nas and internationally renowned producer DJ Khaled have used their social media platforms to both congratulate the pair on the collaboration and to endorse the track. The single has also been featured in a Rolling Stone magazine article.
