Alkaline Sends More Shots At Critics In “Depend Pan Nobody”

Alkaline musicYoung dancehall sensation Alkaline has been on the scene approaching 6 years now and isn’t interested in slowing down.

Always controversial and relevant the Vendetta Boss keeps the fans talking on and off his tracks. One of the biggest talking points throughout his career was whether or not he could perform consistently with the likes of Vybz Kartel, Mavado, and others. Alkaline is releasing continuous reminders to the industry and fans that he is The Man Himself. The Vendetta deejay fresh off his high-quality performance at Dream Weekend ascends further into the public consciousness with the release of 2 songs in quick succession. He brought us into Alkaline season with Elite Only now he has turned the temperature up with Depend Pon Nobody.

In the song Depend Pon Nobody the artiste is declaring his independence from the fakers which include both fans and industry players. He also throws shades at many fellow artistes claiming they cant “Run di Place.” This is nothing new for the Vendetta deejay as his message towards the industry has been the same from day one “I am The Man Himself.” He even throws shade at the “Boss” phenomenon in dancehall seemingly excluding them all from contention.

That sounds like an umbrella dis as in dancehall currently we have Vybz Kartel the “World Boss,” Chronic Law the “Law Boss” and Squash the 6IX Boss. Not only is he declaring his independence but it seems the Vendetta Boss is declaring the number 1 spot in dancehall.
Alkaline who was mostly inactive during the rise of the 6IX is now seemingly setting the record straight in case the Gaza 6IX ( G6) movement had it wrong.

It seems something is definitely brewing. Alkaline is up to something!
