Holy Mountain Climbs To The Top

Buju Banton, Sizzla and Mavado have their first entry on the Billboard Reggae Digital Song Sales chart with Holy Mountain , alongside DJ Khaled and American singer/rapper 070 Shake. It debuts at number one this week.

Holy Mountain is from DJ Khaled’s album Father of Asahd, which debuted at number two on the latest Billboard 200 Albums chart, also this week. The song samples One Spliff A Day, a 1981 recording by (the late) Billy Boyo.

Holy Mountain is currently number 99 on the Canadian Hot 100 chart.

Banton, Sizzla and Mavado have had songs on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Banton charted with Champion (1995), Driver A (2007) and Make My Day (1993). Sizzla’s sole entry was Come Fly With Me, a collaboration with Foxy Brown which peaked at number 45 in 2005.

Mavado has charted twice: Weh Dem Ago Do (number 27 in 2006) and So Special (number 52 in 2009).
