Singjay Nesbeth is pleased with his two nods in the upcoming Youth View Awards.
The entertainer was nominated for Cultural Artiste of The Year and Favourite Local Chart-Topping Song of the Year.
The My Dream singer said about 2016 when he lost his wife and sister months apart, “2016 was a very challenging year for me in many regards, but I continue to prevail through it all. I want to say a special thank you to the Youth View Awards because the nominations represent not just the voice of the people but more importantly the youths and, in my opinion, they represent the future so it’s heart-warming to know that positive music is still making an impact on the younger generation.”
The 2017 installment of the Youth View Awards is scheduled to unfold on Saturday, February 18, at the National Indoor Sports Centre in St Andrew.
