Portmore Music Fest Debuts Dec 29

For residents of Portmore who have longed for an event that will highlight emerging talent from their community, the wait is over.

On December 29, the Portmore Music Festival takes place at UDC Car Park across from the Portmore Mall.

“The objectives of Portmore Music Fest are to excite, empower and renew the entertainment experience in Portmore. It is also a celebration of the best of Portmore and it is poised to become a signature event for the municipality,” said Tameka Chevannes, publicist for the event.

Proceeds from the show will go to Mothers In Crisis, a non-government organization in Portmore.

 I-Octane, I Wayne, Cocoa Tea, Louie Culture, Pressure Buss Pipe, Richie Spice, Ikaya, Bounty Killer, and Iba Mahr are scheduled to perform.
