All set for A St Mary Mi Come From

A St Mary Mi Come From makes a comeback after a three-year absence this evening at Grays Inn Sports Complex in Annotto Bay.

 

Launched in 2000 by St Mary native Capleton, the show was last held in 2013, but it was affected by Tropical Storm Sandy.

Claudette Kemp, Capleton’s manager, told Splash that all is in place for a successful event.

“We’re looking forward to a great time. This is more than entertainment; its about unity, joy and the children,” she said.

 Several institutions (hospitals, schools, infirmaries) have benefited from A St Mary Mi Come From’s proceeds.

Kemp said Capleton was pumped up about the show.

“He’s very upbeat and excited. I’ve never seen him like this.”

Barrington Levy, Cocoa Tea, Ninja Man, I-Octane, Busy Signal, Chezidek, Romain Virgo and Yvad are some of the acts on A St Mary Mi Come From.
