Dancehall stars Beenie Man and Bounty Killer must be in good spirits after they recently became shareholders in the Triller Network.
This comes the app-maker Triller acquired Verzuz, the live streaming platform created by Timbaland and Swizz Beatz that became the go-to virtual entertainment space during the pandemic.
Under the arrangement, Swizz and Timbaland have joined the management team of Triller while also becoming shareholders. Subsequent, the pair announced they will allocate shares to the 43 artistes who have performed on the platform so far.

It’s uncertain what the breakdown of the shares is or how much they are worth but Bounty Killer took to Instagram to thank Beatz and Timbaland with the post, “big up to my brothers Timbaland and Swizz Beats”.
Verzuz is known for taking various artistes from across several genres and pitting them against each other in a tune-for-tune clash. Since its launch in 2020, it has received over five billion stream impressions.
