Shenseea is under fire after performing at a sold-out concert in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday night.
The Dancehall princess uploaded a snippet from her show on Sunday via Instagram, thanks fans who came out in their numbers to support her first live concert since the start of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
“ShenYengz I can’t express how much y’all make me happy, I find comfort in your love and I am grateful for the support you give and being patient with me, standing by me no matter what!!! Our growth and journey is phenomenal 🙏🏽 Thanks be to God 🐉 ••Performing my newest songs..1st show back in it 🔥,” Shenseea wrote.
While fellow entertainers Spice, Ding Dong Ravers, Khalia and Shaneil Muir, showed ShenYeng some love in the comment section, Dancehall critics voiced their disapproval.
“Look like Corona stop keep .. not one mask to be seen 🙄..,” one Dancehall fan wrote. “Watch Corona She Ina Corner Tan Up A Sing Sidechick Song 😂,” another added.
“Atlanta tek buju advise,” a commenter wrote while referencing Buju Banton’s recent anti-mask wearing rant.
This is the first in a series of shows that the Blessed singer plans to do in the coming weeks, according to her socials. Two weeks ago she posted a video from her last tour, asking fans where they want to see her next.
She said: “I’m about to roll tf out!”
