Squash Management Address New Police Investigation

Dancehall deejay Squash’s manager, Junior ‘Heavy D’ Fraser has sought to address his new police investigation.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force are currently conducting a probe into the authenticity and origin of a footage circulating online that purportedly shows the Montego Bay-based Dancehall entertainer handling a firearm with a special drum magazine.

Heavy D is now stepping forward and has confirmed that it is indeed the “Money Fever” deejay who is in the video and that the footage had been in circulation for several months, and the footage stemmed from a video shoot in Trinidad and Tobago.

“The police had the video long time and know about it. People know say is Trinidad it originate from, but someone edit the video and remove the Trinidad title off it , and make it seem like is Jamaica it shoot. It is Trinidad it originate from, and that scene didn’t even make the final music video…this is just added pressure before Sumfest,” he said.

News of the investigation comes just days ahead of Squash’s highly anticipated Reggae Sumfest debut.

The “Money Fever” deejay and his 6ix camp will be closing Dancehall night on July 19. Squash deejay alongside Chronic Law, Jahvillani, Shane E and Unknown Gringo will bring down the curtains inside the Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex.
