The curtain raisers of the show, who were obviously Ugandan artists, were only those who had some touch of reggae. Artists like Cindy, Beenie Gunter, Vampino and the legendary Maddox Sematimba brought their best reggae performance on the show.

Maddox performed last before the Skanking sweet star hit the stage. Maddox’s choice of songs for the night was just on point to the extent that revelers didn’t want him to leave the stage.

Chronixx’s band made an entertaining introduction for him. The band tested the instruments for about 30 minutes but the sound was just too good that by the time Chronixx hit the stage, fans were already possessed by Jamaican reggae spirits. They were feeling irie.

To test his voice, Chronixx came in with They don’t know, which is a soft and slow reggae song off his 2012 album. Smile Jamaica, which is one of his most famous songs here, was the jam of the night. Everyone literally sang along.

Singing each of his songs from beginning to the end, Chronixx fed his fans to full capacity. They couldn’t even beg for more after two hours of epic reggae music.
