Glen Washington Collabs With Canadian Songbird

They may have to travel to a city to do a show, get called to the studio by a local producer, voice for the said producer, meet an up-and-coming recording artiste who complements the track, and end up with a hit record.

That just about sums up the chronology of the recording of the song Find Your Way To Me, by Clarendon-born reggae stalwart Glen Washington, and Montreal’s up-and-coming recording star, Miss Diva.

Built to a sweet lovers’ rock groove that includes addictive chord progression and key changes, Glen Washington sweetly sings “ If you find your way to me, I will always love you endlessly, there is none to love you better than me, just you wait and see baby”.

This is answered by Miss Diva who sings “ Baby everything you do around me is on my mind, only time will tell and show how much you blow my Mind Even when the gray skies are blue, I know I can depend on you, I love you”.

Based on the vocals, it’s clear that Washington sees the star in Miss Diva, giving her room to shine, and the upcoming starlet doesn’t disappoint.

Having a career that spans more than 30 years as a singer, songwriter, and drummer, Washington has worked with icons Joseph ‘Culture’ Hill, Stevie Wonder and Clement ‘Sir Coxone’ Dodd of Studio One.

As for Miss Diva, her catalogue is emerging with the release of her EP self-titled Seven Shades of Love.
