Vanessa Bling’s Still Standing EP makes big moves on the Billboard Reggae Album chart this week. The six-song project jumps from number 20 to three, its highest position since being released on September 18.
Still Standing has to date sold just over 500 copies.
Sting and Shaggy’s 44/876 returns to number one; it was number two last week. The collaboration set has been in the Top 10 since it debuted 28 weeks ago.
Everyday Life, Everyday People by California band Slightly Stoopid is number two in its 19th week. It is their first title to chart on the reggae table.
Beres Hammond’s Never Ending slips to number four after reaching number one seven weeks ago.
Another California band, Rebelution, celebrates its 24th week in the Top 10 with Free Rein, which holds the number five spot. It went number one in June.
The self-titled set from reggae band Iration is number six after 26 weeks in the chart, while Rebellion Rises by Ziggy Marley moves up a spot from number eight to seven.
His brother Damian Marley jumps seven places to number eight with Stony Hill, which has been in the Top 10 for 60 weeks.
Having peaked at number two in August, Forever by Popcaan is number nine. The compilation Reggae Gold 201: 25th Anniversary Edition, falls from number six to 10.
