Volcanos Erupts On Billboard

California reggae/rocksteady band Jr Thomas and The Volcanos tops the Billboard Reggae Album Chart this week with Rockstone.

The 10-track set, released on October 19 by Colemine Records, sold 670 copies in its opening week.

New at number four is the EP All Good Things by Beyond Bridges, which enters with 197 copies sold. This is the Pueblo, Colorado band’s first entry on the chart.

Poetry in Motion by SOJA re-enters the Top 10 at number nine with an additional 66 copies sold, to bring its tally to 8,140. Released on October 20 last year, Poetry in Motion topped the chart two months later.

44/876 by Sting and Shaggy sold 418 copies over the past week. It remains at number two with total sales of 49,747. Last week’s number one, Never Ending by Beres Hammond drops to number three with 333 copies sold last week. Its tally stands at 1,943 after two weeks.

Collie Buddz is in at number five with Good Life, while Vanessa Bling moves up from number eight to six with Still Standing.

Free Rein by Rebelution is down to number seven, selling 90 copies for a total of 18,072 copies.

Iration’s self-titled set slips to number eight while Lovers Rock by Estelle is number 10.
