Taking The ‘Sandz’ To The Streets With Jamaica Carnival

One of the Caribbean’s hottest beach parties, Sandz will be on the road with the rebirth of Byron Lee’s brainchild, Jamaica Carnival, come Carnival Sunday April 23.

For the past three years, the Sandz brand has grown tremendously and has received overwhelming support from fun loving Jamaicans. The last staging of Sandz was held on January 1st at the White Oasis, 7th Harbour Palisadoes, with over 8,000 patrons in attendance. The event was not only well attended but turned out to be an energetic, enjoyable and memorable occasion.

Known for its unique brand of entertainment, décor and excitement, the Sandz team will be taking the same energy on the road.

“We decided to jump at the opportunity to work with Jamaica Carnival seeing that is an entity we grew up watching. It was really a privilege for my team to get our Supreme Team and the Sandz brand out to Jamaica and the world. We will be bringing the same Sandz Ultimate Beach chill vibe to Jamaica Carnival. We’re known for beach events but it will be easy to bridge the gap and still bring the vibe from the beach on the road which will involve our Sandz pit concept” Carlton Davy Director Supreme Events explained.

Jamaica Carnival is offering more for less with five carnival attire options price ranging from $95 to $285USD. Jamaica Carnival will be launching a series of blow out events in Kingston, Ocho Rios, Montego Bay and St Elizabeth leading up to the big road march. The first event will be the press launch set for January 17 then the band launch on January 28.

“Jamaica Carnival is all about bringing back good vibes and energy to the carnival scene. We want to bring people together on the road for a unique experience and that’s exactly what Sandz has been doing for the past three years. We have a lot of respect for the Sandz team, we’re very impressed with the way they deal with their patrons, the attention they pay to detail and the product they are putting out there,” commented Omar Shoucair, a director of Jamaica Carnival.
