Dancehall star Ishawna has cut all ties with Downsound Records and is no longer on the successful independent label’s roster of artistes, reliable sources inform Loop News.
Sources say that the A Bay singer officially severed all ties with the record label earlier this week. She is booked to perform on Dancehall Night of Reggae Sumfest next Friday.
Efforts to reach Ishawna proved futile.
Ishawna’s departure from the record company that played a pivotal role in her rise to fame may come as a surprise to many in dancehall circles.
She is known for the hits, Oo-la-la, Need Love, Restraining Order, Vroom Vroom and Answer Me.
